Our Florida Vacation

We made it back from our Florida vacation! I wasn't able to post anything while I was gone ~ sorry!

We had a wonderful, wonderful time! We came back rested and re-energized! I'll try to hit the highlights for you!

Day 1: We left Friday after work and drove to about Columbia, SC.

Day 2: We stopped at Daytona Beach, Florida that afternoon to visit w/ my Aunt Pauline and Jim Ferrell in their ocean front condo. It was a little chilly, but we were still able to walk around outside. Their place was awesome! We stopped at the Daytona Flea Market and loaded up on fruits and veggies for the week. Then we headed to our house at Windsor Hils Resort. Dad, Eric, Lynn, Lexi and Elle had already arrived. We love this house and the resort. It is 6 bedrooms w/ a game room, private pool and hot tub.

Day 3: Most of the day was spent being lazy by the pool. I think the kids would have been happy staying there 24 hours a day. We went to a pirate dinner show/adventure. The kids got all dressed up in their pirate and princess outfits. The dinner was really cool. They chose Lynn and Kyle to be part of the show. Then at the end they had Lexi and Addie up on the stage. It was cute and they were excited!

Day4: Lazy Day at the house and pool! We spent the evening at Downtown Disney and had dinner at the RainForrest Cafe. The kids love that restaraunt! It actually storms w/ thunder and rain and you can hear all the elephants and monkeys. I love it because it is noisey... so nobody notices how loud my children are! ;)

Day 5: We attended Disney's Pirate and Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom. It was the high light of our trip!!!! The party lasted until midnight - and we all hung in there until then. We actually didn't end up leaving until almost 1AM and Addie was still begging to ride one more ride. It was a perfect time!!!!!! There were zero crowds and we just walked straight to were ever we wanted to go.

This picture was actually taken on the monarail as we were leaving the Princess and Pirate Party at almost 1 am! You would never had known that it was that late..or early! lol!

Day 6: Was another lazy day and the house/pool. The resort has a movie theatre where you can reserve your choice of movie. Dad and Jace watched Cars...Jace's favorite movie... followed by a "nap" by the pool.

DAy 7: Lots of pool time and we hit a couple outlet stores.

DAy 8: Back to the Magic Kindgom at Disney World for another day of fun!

Addie was chosen to be part of Belle's story time show. She loves this and somehow has managed to be chosen almost every year.

Jace fell asleep during the evening parade!

Day 9: We spent the evening w/ Dad at Old Towne in Kissimmee. We met up with Bill and Joanne Stevens fron Grantsville. I think Jace is going to love the classic cars more than Dad. He loved watching the car "parade"...there were over 300 old cars in the parade. Jace gave each and every one of them a thumbs up. He would get so excited when they would do it back! It was cute!

Day 10: We started the day at IHOP then decided to head to one more park, Epcot. Elle decided she wanted to go too... Lexi opted for a day by the pool.

We ended the day by watching the Super Bowl - of course the kids weren't interested in that and headed to the pool....AGAIN!

Day 11: We headed back to West Virginia!!!

About Me

Be prepared to read the boring details of a happily married christian. I have been married to Kyle, my high school sweetheart, for over 8 years. We have two wonderful..yet very active children. Addison is 6 and Jace just turned 3. I am the Director of Business Administration for Ronald Lane, Inc. I have the freedom to work around school activities. We are HUGE Disney fans. I love seeing the look on Addie's face as she sees Cinderella or how excited Jace gets to see Mickey Mouse. Kyle and I made our first trip to Disney World TOGETHER when we were 16 years old. Since then we have visited the park at least 8 times .
